Lois Reagan

Swannanoa Lois Payne Reagan, 79, formerly of 208 Meredith Loop, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Laurels of Summit Ridge. A native of Madison County, she had resided in Buncombe County for the past 50 years. She was a member of Swannanoa Valley Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Reagan was the daughter of the late Floyd and Matilda Hagan Payne, and was the wife of the late Vance Junior Reagan. She was also preceded in death by a son, J.V. Reagan; daughter, Laura Jean Reagan; and brothers: Houston Payne and Clarence Payne. Surviving are her sons: Buster Reagan of Candler, Dennie Reagan of Asheville, and Anthony Vance Reagan of Swannanoa; grandchildren: Lisa Reagan, Walter Reagan, Travis Reagan, and Jessica Reagan; four great-grandchildren; and sisters: Lucy Lance and Edna Edwards, both of Asheville. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with the Rev. Ed Olson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
