Lois Mcfalls "Nanny" Allen

Lois Nanny McFalls Allen, 77, of Woodfin, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie McFalls and wife of Bill Jack Allen. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bill Jack, and ten brothers and sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Parker of the home; sister, Hazel Garren of Woodfin; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, Billy Jack Allen, Gary Dean Parker, Jr, Jesse Allen Parker, Micheal Steven Parker, Brittany Scott, Mandy Allen, Kadie Parker, Clayton Parker, Cami Parker, Jacklyn Allen, Billy Allen Jr.; 1 great great granddaughter, Carli Marie Parker; several nieces and nephews, and friend Donna Sawadivong of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Elk Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
