Lois Harris Teague

April 9, 1957 — March 6, 2010

CANDLER Lois Ann Harris Teague, 52, of 40 Wendy Canyon Rd. passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. Mrs. Teague was a native of Johnson City, TN and a resident of Buncombe County since 1979. She served as the Breakfast Manager of J & S Cafeteria at River Ridge, was a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church and member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #179 (WOTM). She was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Sanders Harris and 2nd husband, Jimmy C. Harris. Surviving are her husband, David Harold Teague of the home; parents, James Nicklos and Rosie Dawn Bennett Dupkoski of Johnson City, TN; step-sons, Mike Harris and wife, Janice and Ricky Harris all of Candler; step-daughter, Sheila Patton of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Melvin Dupkoski and wife, Teresa and Allen Dupkoski and wife, Noi all of Tennessee; 8 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 2 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, 5 nephews and 1 niece. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Thurman officiating along with a Memorial Tribute provided by the Women of the Moose. Burial will be in Snow Hill UMC Cemetery with Luke and Justin Harris, Jason and Sean Patton and Matt and Jo-Jo Dupkoski serving as active pallbearers and Josh Dupkoski and Jeremy Harris serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated, however, for those that wish memorials may be made in her honor to the Asheville Moose Lodge, P.O. Box 6786, Asheville, NC 28816.
