Lois Bradley

Asheville Lois Beatrice Hooker Bradley, 80, of 90 W. Skyland Circle, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at her home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was formerly employed with Square D Corp for 5 years and was a member of Elk Mountain Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. Mrs. Bradley was a daughter of the late Oris Cornelious Hooker and Cora Rosetta Bishop Hooker and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Conley Hooker and Harold Hooker. Surviving are her husband whom she married September 24, 1949, Charles Bradley of the home; son, Roger Bradley and wife Jennifer of Leicester; granddaughters, Ashlie Nicole, Alexandra and Adrienne; great granddaughters, Daylyn and ORyley and sister, Helen Clarke of Knoxville, TN. Graveside services will be held 10 AM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Pisgah View Memorial Park with Rev. Dean Huggins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
