Lloyd Revis

Asheville Lloyd Revis, 86, of 17 Louisiana Ave, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Graham County, he had resided in Buncombe County since 1959, was self employed and formerly went by the Lawn Mower Man on the C.B. Mr. Revis was a son of the late Conley Revis and Mollie Bailey Revis and husband of Etta Jane Crisp Revis who died September 22, 2000. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Olean Revis. Surviving are his sons, Lloyd Revis, Jr. and wife Bridgett Ann of Old Fort and Carroll Revis of Fairview; daughters, Linda Hembree and husband David of Asheville and Tenna Behm and husband Bob of Morrisville; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Fred Revis and wife Pearl of Stanley and several half brothers and sisters in Haywood County. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, February 3,2014 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Willard Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
