Lloyd Glenn Lynch

September 26, 1944 — January 27, 2019

Lloyd Glenn Lynch, 74, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, He was a son of the late L.V. Lynch and Geneva Cain Lynch. Lloyd was a member of Calvary Worship Center. He loved Jesus, spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and watching NASCAR. He spent many years on the road as a truck driver and his handle was Deer Runner on the CB Radio. Surviving are his wife, Marsha Bell Lynch; sons: Donald Lynch and his wife Beth of Hartwell, GA, Christopher Charles Carpenter and his wife Rachel of Asheville, Bryan David Carpenter and his wife Emily of Etowah, and Matthew Glenn Lynch and his wife Lindsey of Candler; grandchildren: Trinity, Tyler, Peyton, Lyric, Zachary, Dylan, and Piper; sisters: Lynda Lynch and Brenda Sherlin both of Weaverville; brother, William Lynch of Sylva; and nieces and nephews: Eric Sherlin, Carolyn Bates, Jeff Bell, and Tina Bartel. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM Friday, February 1, 2019 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
