Linda Sue Williams Ledford

Candler – Linda Sue Williams Ledford, 72, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the Elizabeth House.

A native of Buncombe County, she owned & operated an Alteration Shop where she served the public for 50 years, attended Enka High School, and also, God gave her a gift of playing the piano.

She was a daughter of the late Paul B. and Ollie Mae Williams and was also preceded in death by her brothers: Jackie Lee Williams and Steve Eugene Williams, and sister, Nancy Marie Yearout.

Surviving are her husband, Earl Winslow Ledford of the home; son, Eric Eugene Taylor and wife Wendy of Leicester; daughter, Cynthia Renee Mashburn of Asheville; brothers: Billy Ray Williams and wife Sherry of TN and Roger Dale Williams of Clyde; sister, Patsy Diane Holland of Asheville; step son, Jeffery Geno Ledford and wife Shannon of Leicester; step daughter, Jennifer Rebecca Darity and husband Jimmy of Leicester; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023, Mt. Sheba Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Saturday for 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
