Candler Linda Lytle Ball, 57, of 15 Mimi Lane passed away Saturday, October 21, 2006 at John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and resident for most of her life of Buncombe County. She was a daughter of James Leonard Lytle, Jr. and Anna Grace Simpson Cable both of Asheville. Mrs. Ball was formerly employed with the Industries for the Blind and SEI Inc. She was a graduate of Cecils Business College where she received her A.A.S. as a Paralegal and a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, William Bill John Ball of the home; daughter, Tracey Swafford and husband, Donnie of Candler; sons, Phillip Moody and wife, Tammy of Rantoul, IL and Shawn Moody of Marietta, GA; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Susie Black and husband, Kim of Candler, Lisa Worley and husband, Steven of Marion and Kim Morelock and husband, Jerry of Weaverville; brothers, Lenny Lytle and wife, Tannis of Missoula, Montana, Garry Lytle of Hanover, PA and George Lytle and wife, Mary of Weaverville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pole Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of Susie and Kim Black, 21 English Place, Candler.
