Linda Haworth

Asheville Linda Kay Hill Haworth, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the St. Josephs Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Abingdon, VA, Mrs. Haworth had resided in Buncombe County since 1973. She retired in 1993 from Eckerd Drug Store at which time she had the honor of helping raise her grandchildren and formerly served with the Reynolds Fire Department Ladies Auxilary Mrs. Haworth was the daughter of the late James Newton Hill and Ruth McMillan Musick Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Leroy Haworth who died July 5, 2018 and brother, Jim Hill and his wife, Pat Hill. Surviving are her children, David Lincoln Wise and wife Wendy of Cornelius, NC, Teresa Renee Haworth of Asheville and Hope Haworth Dotson and husband Larry Dotson, Jr. of Fairview; grandchildren: Brittney Letterman and husband Joseph of Burnsville, Amanda Dotson and Allie Dotson, both of Fairview and Nicole Deininger of Mooresville, NC. At this time, no services are planned and her ashes will be scattered at a later date. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting Mrs. Haworths family.
