Linda Ann Stanley Russ

Asheville – Linda Ann Stanley Russ, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Latt Stanley and Ruth Marie Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Russ Williams; and brothers: Donnie Swenie, and Woodrow Stanley. Surviving are her lifelong companion, Harry Harper; son, John Weldon Russ of Parrottsville, TN; sisters: Judy Goldsmith and husband Walter of Swannanoa and Geraldine Hamlin and husband Jerry of Asheville; brother, Richard Stanley and wife Lynn of Fairview; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Friday, November 29, 2019, at West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends before and after the service at the home.
