Leomia Crook

Asheville - Leomia Carolyn McMahan Crook, 82, died Sunday June 19, 2011 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Clayton Avenue Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Sherman and Lillian King McMahan and the wife of the late Albert Jesse Crook. Surviving are her sons, Harold Marlor of Asheville and Jerry Crook of Arden; daughters, Jean Plemmons of Melvin Dale, MI and Gail Gilbart of Fairfax, VA; sister, Alma Marlor of Leicester; brother, Cecil McMahan of Asheville; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. James Lamb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Care Partners Hospice, P.O.
