Len Van Putten Vink, Iv

Leicester - Leonard Len Van Putten Vink, IV, 57, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Allendale, NJ, Len resided in Buncombe County for the past 12 years. He worked as a machinist with Precision Tool, in Arden. Len was a gifted small engine repairman, landscaper, master griller, and loved to crack himself and others up. However, above all, he was a family man. His wife and daughters were his entire world, and never missed an opportunity to share with his many friends the things that were happening in their lives. Len was the son of Leonard Van Putten Vink, III and Kaaren Ruth Hoffman Van Putten Vink formerly of Allendale, NJ, currently residing in Royal Palm Beach, FL. In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife of 29 years, Carol Deters Van Putten Vink; daughters: Sarah and fianc Michael Rice, and Jessica; brothers: Robert Bob Van Putten Vink of Wayne, NJ, and James Van Putten Vink of Wellington, FL; sister, Laura Moore of Belmont, NH; his beloved dog, Bella; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and close, special friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:30 8:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
