Lee V. Moore, Jr.

Asheville – Lee Vance Moore, Jr., 87, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Mission Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County and a US Air Force Korean War Veteran. Mr. Moore retired in 2002 following over 40 years of service with Daniels Graphics where at the time of his retirement he served as Business Manager. Mr. Moore was the son of the late Lee Vance Moore and Melba Wright Moore. He was also preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Barbara Jean Anderson Moore who died January 10, 2013 and son, Lee Moore, III who died February 13, 2020. Surviving are his son, Robert Bruce Moore of Asheville and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM (Noon) Friday, February 25, 2022 in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Mark Penley officiating and Military Honors conducted by the US Air Force Honor Guard Team.
