Lee Ann Banks

Asheville – Lee Ann Lowe Banks, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at her residence. She resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Junior and Ruby Shelton Lowe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Burnice Banks and brothers: Alvin and Billy Lowe. Mrs. Banks was a Christian, strong in faith, who loved the Lord. She retired from the Buncombe County School System having worked most of her career with the Valley Springs School. Surviving are her sons: Gary Dean Banks and wife Melissa of Fairview, and James Edward Banks and wife Ashley of Hendersonville; grandchildren: Tyler Banks, Garrett Banks, Madalynn Banks, and Lydia Banks; sisters: Winda Shelton, Dalas Bullman and husband Emmett, Jenny Bullman and husband Arnold all of Madison County; brothers: Richard Lowe and wife Brenda, and Jeffery Lowe all of Madison County; sister-in-law, Shirley Lowe; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 pm Monday, January 4, 2021, at West Memorial Park.
