Leagy Early Moody

West Asheville - Leagy Lee Early Moody, 84, formerly of Hanover Street, died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at The Laurels of Summit Ridge following a period of declining health. A native of Fairview, she retired from Farnham Mfg. Company. Mrs. Moody was the daughter of the late William and Edith Early. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Ritchie and husband Gary of Shelby, NC, and two granddaughters: Amber Renee Ritchie of Shelby and Pamela Paige Ritchie of Boise, ID. Private graveside services will be held Friday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Memorials may be made to the Life Enrichment Center, 103 T.R. Harris Drive, Shelby, NC 28150, or to the Black Mountain Center, 1280 Old US Highway 70-W, Black Mountain, NC 28711. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting Mrs. Moodys family.
