Larry Ray Conner

Harriman, TN - Larry Ray Conner, 48, of 640 Skyline Dr. died Saturday, November 15, 2003 at his residence following a period of declining health. A native of Buncombe County, he had resided in Oak Ridge and Harriman for the past 23 years. He was a 1973 graduate of T.C. Roberson High School and a 1980 graduate of A-B Technical College with an A.A.S. in Chemical Engineering. Mr. Conner was employed with Oak Ridge Nuclear Plant for 23 years. He was a member of Skyland Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are his parents, Floyd Ben and Doris Rainey Conner; sister, Debra Conner Riddle and husband Clayton of Asheville; nieces, Nicole Ferrell and Matelyn Lunsford, both of Asheville. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. Perry Brindley officiating. Memorials may be made to Mtn. Area Hospice, P.O.
