Kitty D. Garland Medford

Asheville - Kitty D. Garland Medford, 48, of 39 Mountain Vista Dr. passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at Mission St. Josephs Health System. She was native of Buncombe County and she was the owner/operator of Dazzle Hair Design and was a hairdresser for 27 years. Mrs. Medford was the daughter of Bud and Opal Garland of Asheville. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Nicholas. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Jim Medford of the home; daughters, Meredith Ashley Medford and Meagan Paige Medford of the home; brother, Mike Garland and wife Janice of Alexander. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Graham Royall officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Friday at the funeral home.
