Kenneth “Ken” Wayne Kinlaw, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
A native of Hope Mills, NC, he was a son of the late Horace Delano Kinlaw and Betty Vivian Hester Kinlaw.
Ken was a former manager of Circle 8 Foods, which he ran for many years with his father. He was also an independent meat broker amongst many other hobbies and pursuits. Ken shared his love of charity as a member of the Massey Hill Lions Club of Fayetteville. He will be remembered for his big heart, his love for family and friends, and his independent spirit. Words to remember him by: “What will be, will be. It’s in God’s hands.” and “When I’m gone, I’m gone. Life is for the living.”
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anne Moye Kinlaw; sons: Kevin Kinlaw and wife Amy, Thomas Kinlaw, Richard Robinson, Michael Kinlaw and wife Anna, and Hunter Kinlaw; grandchildren: Kaleb, Ava, Kora, Mattie, Connor, Penelope, and Valentine; sister, Terri Kinlaw Burkett; brother, Mike Kinlaw and wife Beth; nieces and nephews: Hayley, Heather and husband Thom, Caroline and husband Matthew, Bekah and husband Jacob; and by many extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Saturday immediately following the service at the funeral home.
