Asheville – Kenneth Clinton Browne III (Clint) passed away suddenly at the age of 74 on December 21, 2021 in Asheville, NC at the Charles George VA Hospital. Clint was born in Columbus Ohio on February 3, 1947 to Kenneth and Laura Browne. He attended Bexley High School, graduated from Leelanau High School in Glen Arbor, Michigan, and attended Ricker College in Houlton, Maine. He served in the US Air Force in Columbus, Mississippi where he raised his family and had two restaurants: KC’s Sandwich Shop and Browne’s Downtown. Clint later moved to Asheville, North Carolina where he worked at the TSA prior to his retirement in 2019. Clint loved all things Apple and spent countless hours researching all of the latest technologies. He loved his political talk shows, hot yoga, and checking the weather. Clint is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Gordon (Dan) of Leesburg, VA, Kacy Stampfl (Andy) of Carlsbad, CA, and sister Laurie Onda (Bob) of Columbus, Ohio. He had 6 grandchildren Alex, Ava, & Ashton Gordon and Laura, Drew, & Kate Stampfl whom he loved dearly. Clint will be honored at a private graveside service in Columbus, Ohio over the 4th of July holiday where he always gathered with his family.
