Kelly Smith

Asheville - Kelly Lane Smith, 35, of 128 Macedonia Road went home to be with her Lord on July 27, 2006. She was a daughter of George Smith of Asheville and the late Janie Mae Vaughn Smith who died October 23, 2004. Surviving in addition to her father are her sister; Lisa Smith of Asheville; daughters, Savannah Lee Mack of Orangeburg, SC and Beverly Nicole Nikki Smith of Asheville and paternal grandmother, Peggy Long of Asheville. Kelly was a very loving, beautiful person, well liked in the community by friends as well as law enforcement and government officials. They saw her as a good girl with a bad problem. She was very loving and loyal to whomever she came into contact with and never hurt anyone but herself. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Rash officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home. Kelly will be missed by all who knew her. She is now without pain and with her mother, Janie Smith in Heaven. She is now a guardian angel to everyone she knew.
