Kathy Lynn Maynard

Kathy Lynn Maynard, 69, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Emerald Ridge Health Care Center.

A native of Cherokee, SC, she spent most of her life in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Kathy had a passion for reading, gardening, and most of all her family.

Kathy was a daughter of the late Hugh Cash and Eloise Littrell; she was also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Cash.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Heather Maynard, Roger Maynard (Cynthia), and Travis Maynard (Robyn); brother, Tommy Littrell (Betty); sisters: Joyce Johnson, Janette Lunsford, Debbie Erwin (Steve), and Debbie Maynard Jones (Tom); grandchildren: Raegan Maynard (Ivy), Hunter Maynard, Jasmine McClure, and Orrin McClure; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Reverend Lorraine Foster Officiating. Music will be provided by David Foster. 

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 until 2 PM at the funeral home.

Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center is honored to serve the Maynard family.
