Katalin Hollo Maurer

Katalin Hollo Maurer passed away on August 4, 2018, in Asheville, NC. She was born on January, 29, 1969 in Budapest, Hungary. She married Karl Maurer on September 28, 2013 in Asheville, NC. She is survived by her husband Karl of Asheville, NC, her father, her sister, her son, and her daughter. Katalin was an extremely kindhearted, loving, giving, and generous person. She was a wonderful wife to her husband Karl and enjoyed cooking, baking and caring for him in countless ways. Katalin loved to travel and to spend time outdoors, and enjoyed taking rides on the Blue Ridge Parkway and picnicking at the Biltmore Estate. A memorial service for Katalin will be held on August 18, 2018 at Fellowship Asheville Church, 756 Fairview Road, Asheville, NC 28803. Friends and family are invited to arrive at 4:30 pm to visit, and the service will begin at 5:30 pm.
