Julie Ann Rosen

Julie Ann Rosen, 69, went to be with Spirit on Thursday, December 26, 2024. 

A native of Adrian, Minnesota in Nobles County, she was a veteran of the United States Air Force. During her 40-year career working as a Registered Nurse, she cared for many people with great compassion and dignity. She received countless expressions of gratitude from patients and families. Julie loved the outdoors and frequented the North Carolina Arboretum. She had a passion for sailing that started at an early age and later owned her own sailboat. While Julie loved being in the open water behind the helm so much, she also deeply loved her family and friends.

Julie was preceded in death by her father, William Neuheisel and her mother, Josephine Balster. 

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Peterson (Craig), grandchildren; Oliver Peterson and Isabella Peterson, sisters; Janice Goodsell (Carrol), Donna Schurger (Matt), Mary Geiger, Alice Meier (Steve), brothers; Joe Neuheisel, John Neuheisel along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 12 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2024, at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
