Judy Bishop Mullinnix Tanner

Judy Bishop Mullinnix Tanner, 98, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the Elderberry Health Care Center.

 A native of Plains, Georgia, she resided in Western North Carolina most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Bailey Bishop and Nelli Vaughan Bishop. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lucius Mullinnix; second husband Herman Tanner; son, Robert “Bobby” Lucius Mullinnix, Jr.; son-in-law, Miles Webb, Jr.; and four sisters and two brothers. 

 Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Diana Mullinnix Webb, and Robin Mullinnix Lunsford and husband Rick Scott Lunsford; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

 Graveside Services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. 

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
