Judy Faye Carver Quimby

Mills River – Judy Faye Carver Quimby, 60, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Memorial Mission Hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Carver and Helen Louise Lance Carver. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Carver; and brother, Bobby Carver.

Judy was strong willed and loved her family very much, and she especially loved her children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Christie Quimby and husband Sterling, Roy Quimby, III and wife Sara, Jessica Quimby, Nathan Quimby and partner Matthew Trinidad; grandchildren: Lydia Quimby, Annabeth Quimby, Scottlyn Robinson, Gavin Quimby, Dynise Kimrey, Preston Haney, Hunter Leisey, and Gage Leisey; sisters: Shirley Bruce, Betty Landers, Joyce Johnson, Becky Featherstone, Brenda Humphress and husband Alan, and Cathy Price and husband Daniel; brothers: Larry Carver and wife Regina, Eddie Carver, Ronnie Carver and wife Crystal, and Kenny Carver; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A time to celebrate Judy’s life will be held from 2 till 4 pm on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of DaVita Dialysis Center for their exceptional care given to Judy over the past several years.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judy’s memory to the family, care of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses.
