Judy Ann Watts

Asheville – Judy Ann Edwards Watts, 78, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 16, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Watts will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a sweet lady who offered her time to anyone, friend, or stranger, that needed someone to listen or offer encouragement. She took remarkable pride in everything she done, no matter how small or large the task.

Mrs. Watts was the daughter of the late Remus and Maude McHone Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles Watts, and 10 siblings.

Surviving are her children: Curtis Watts, Tina Wolfe and husband Jeff, Nancy Gillenwater and husband Carl, Donald Watts and wife Shonda, and Kim Overman and husband Danny; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
