Judson Henry Hill

Asheville - Judson Henry Hill, 83, died Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at his residence after a period of declining health. A native of Henderson County, he had lived in Wilmington until he retired to Buncombe County. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a member of the NC Beekeepers Assoc. Mr. Hill was a son of the late Arthur L. and Esmer Searcey Hill. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Jones. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Hill of the home; daughter, Linda Mae Bedford of Hamilton, OH; son, Darrell Hill and wife Pat Hill of Henderson; grandchildren, Jack Bedford, Lisa Roberts, Jeff Bedford, Michael Bedford, Missy Buckner, Samantha Joyner, Tiffany Stone, and Olivia Hill; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Lottie Watkins and Alta Looney both of Asheville; brother, Thurel Bud Hill of Fairview. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Revs. Ralph Sexton, Sr., Ralph Sexton, Jr., and Jerry Young officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home.
