Juanita Virginia Follett Sprinkle

Asheville - Juanita Virginia Follett Sprinkle, 82, of 53 Euclid Blvd. went to be with her Lord on November 8, 2003 at Pisgah Manor Nursing Home. A native of Madison County, she had lived in Buncombe Co. for most of her life. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and she was retired from the Patton Ave. K-Mart. She was an accomplished musician with her late husbands band, Bill Sprinkle and his Rocky Mtn. Boys. Mrs. Sprinkle was the daughter of the late George Follett, Sr. and Edith Hensley Follett and was the wife of the late Fred R. Sprinkle who died in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Dale and Edwin Sprinkle, sister, Mildred Frazier, and brother, Harry Follett. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Rice and husband Norman; sons, George Sprinkle, Sr. and Ralph Sprinkle, both of Asheville, and Jerry Sprinkle and wife Patty of Camden, SC; sister, Winfred Crowder of Asheville; brothers, George Follett, Jr. and Rev. William Follett, both of Asheville; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Buddy Corbin and Rev. Don Welborn officiating. Burial will be in Cody Family Cemetery, Marshall. Mrs. Sprinkles grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Monday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Pam and Norman Rice at 258-1219.
