Juanita Evelyn Weber Sparks Letterman, 98, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the NHC Cavette Hill Assisted Living in Knoxville, TN.

She was a native of Erwin, TN, and had worked at BASF as an Administrative Secretary. She was a member of Malvern Hills Presbyterian Church for over 70 years.


She was a daughter of the late Sidney Shuford Weber and Lelia Sellars Weber. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Foy Sparks, second husband, Joseph Letterman and sisters: Margaret Lewis, formerly of Wilmington, NC, Doris Baucom, formerly of Erwin, TN. and Mildred “Bell” Randolph of Petersburg, VA

Surviving are her son: Douglas Wayne Sparks and wife, Catherine of Knoxville, TN; granddaughters: Cynthia Suzanne Anderson and Caroline Michelle Sparks of Knoxville, TN; great grand children: Charles Douglas Anderson, William Hudson Anderson, Ella Catherine Anderson, Madeline Elise Arnett of Knoxville, TN and brother: Sidney Shuford “Mickey” Weber, Jr. of Roanoke, VA.


A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Walt DeHart officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Malvern Hills Presbyterian Church, 2 Bear Creek Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
