Juanita Janette Fore Lindsey

Asheville - Juanita Janette Fore Lindsey, 72, of 23 Melody Ln. died Friday, March 21, 2003 at Mission St. Josephs Health System. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of State Street Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Joseph H. Oscar and Gertrude Jane Whitaker Fore and was the wife of the late Rev. George Lindsey. She was also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Lindsey. Surviving are her sons, William Lindsey of Fletcher, Richard Lindsey and wife Sandra and Steve G. Lindsey and wife Sherry, both of Asheville; daughters, Sandra Jackson and husband Bobby of Asheville and Debbie West and husband Jackie of Leicester; sisters, Gloria Barnett of Asheville and Rachel Jones of Fairview; brother, Herman Fore of Sheffield, AL; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Willard Pruitt and Ralph Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
