Joseph Mccrary Amidon

Candler – Joseph McCrary Amidon, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at his residence. Joseph was born on June 28, 1944 in Hawkinsville, GA to the late Roger Amidon, Sr. and Frances McCrary Amidon. He was an addiction counselor and an active member of the Daily Decisions A.A. Group. Surviving are his son, Charles “Charlie” Perry Amidon of Asheville; sister, Suzanne Amidon Zoole and husband Jon Leonard Zoole of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Roger Amidon, Jr. and wife Lorraine Anderson Amidon of Mollusk, VA; and nephews and nieces: William Wilson Mount, III, Joseph McCrary Mount, Bernadette Amidon Cornelius, and Lisa Amidon. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Amidon family.
