Jon Ann Mcelreath Plemmons

Asheville – Jon Ann McElreath Plemmons, 63, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the CarePartners Solace Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late John McElreath and Janet Reeves McCoy.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shannon Hallowell and husband Keith; son, Jesse Plemmons and wife Caitlin; grandchildren: Addy, Isaiah, and Elijah; Buzzy Plemmons who was married to Jon Ann for 21 years; sister, Angie Shuey

and husband Ray; brothers: Jeff McCoy, and Chris McCoy; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Little Sandy United Methodist Church, 10524 NC 63, Leicester, NC 28748, with Pastor Kellen Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 till 11 AM Tuesday at the church.
