Johnny Mack Watts

Asheville - Johnny Mack Watts, 70, of 70 Avondale Rd. died Monday, May 13, 2002 at the Mountain Area Hospice Center. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Frank LeRoy and Leona McMahan Watts. Surviving are his sons, Paul Watts and John Christian Watts and wife Olga all of Candler; sisters, Doris Watts and Betty Ann Laws both of Asheville; brothers, Harold Watts of Chattanooga, TN and Allen Watts of Asheville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2002 in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Plemmons officiating. Entombment will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
