John Leslie Venters

Asheville – John Leslie Venters, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. John was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Duane Venters who passed away on August 18, 2016. John was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents, Lisa and Shane Jolliff of Arden; children: Alexia Nicole Venters and Carter Mace; sisters: Jessica Venters of Asheville, and Morgan Venters of Kentucky; brother, Clifford Venters of Tennessee; nephews: Zachariah Reith and Kai Ponder; and nieces: Andrayah Venters, Kortnie Ponder, Kayley Venters, Aiyana Venters, and Nailani Amora Philyaw. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2020, in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Royal officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
