John "J.T." Reynolds

Candler – John T. “J.T.” Reynolds, 84, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Jersey City, NJ, he had resided in Buncombe County for most of his life. He was the son of the late James Robert Reynolds and Pearl Luther Ehrhardt. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired from Square D following 31 years of service in 1992. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and since retirement enjoyed spending the winters in Florida. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy Carolyn Mills Reynolds; daughters: Deborah Nelson and husband Andrew of Weaverville and Teresa Todd of Candler; grandchildren: Bryan and wife Kisha, Jonathan, Marc, Dustin and wife Devon, and Brianne; great-grandchildren: Brycin, Braydin, and Jameson. A celebration of J.T’s life will be held from 2 till 4 PM on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
