John Allen Barnett

John Allen Barnett, 79, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at his home.

John was born April 23, 1943 in Asheville, NC to the late Glenn and Mattie Roberts Barnett.

A native of Buncombe County, John retired after 30 years from Three Mountaineers, Inc as a manager of the outlet store.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Jane Barnett; his children, Elizabeth Horrell (Kevin), Michael Barnett, Brian Barnett (Jennie), along with 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to CarePartners and Hospice.

Memorial services will be held 2 PM Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Pinnacle Church, 415 Fibreville St, Canton, NC 28716.

The family will receive friends immediately following service at the church.
