Jobe Sprinkle

Asheville Coy Jobe Sprinkle, Jr., 64, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he retired in 2015 as a long distance Truck Driver and was a member of Starnes Cove Baptist Church. Mr. Sprinkle was the son of the late Coy Jobe Sprinkle and Betty Jean Allen Sprinkle. He was also preceded in death by two children, Jennifer Sprinkle and Joseph Sprinkle. Surviving are his wife whom he married January 19, 1973, Wilma Thomas Sprinkle of the home; sons, Chris Sprinkle (Jennifer) of Inman, SC and Adam Sprinkle (Ashley) of Asheville; grandchildren, Ashton, Autumn, Summer, Jennifer, Hailey, Coy, Ethan sisters, Mary Ann Riggins (Bobby) of Candler and Cathy Merrill (Tommy) of Arden and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Sams and Larry Dotson officiating.
