Joann Viola Rose

Asheville – JoAnn Viola Rose, 77, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

A native of Manhattan, NY, she relocated to Little Rock, AR where she taught many children as a Kindergarten Teacher. She resided in Asheville, NC for the past 25 years.

JoAnn was a daughter of the late Joseph Viola and Barbara Delugo Viola.

She was known for her vibrant social life and love for flowers and bright colors. She mentored several younger people that appreciated her wisdom and unique perspective.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Christopher Adams and wife “Bew” Rattanawadee Salukkam; grandson, Alan Chaitaweep Adams; and many extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on July 31st, 2024, at Rainbow Community School Auditorium, 60 State St.
