Jimmy E. Rumbough Sr.

Asheville - Jimmy Eugene Rumbough, Sr., 64, of 38 Naples Road, died Friday April 4, 2009 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a rock mason and a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Rev. Lucius and Hattie Rumbough. Surviving are his daughters, Brenda Rumbough of Atlanta, GA, Gail Rumbough Braswell and husband John of Kingsland, GA and Joy Rumbough of Woodfin; Son, Jimmy Rumbough, Jr. and wife Missy of Woodfin; sister, Betty Jean Dobbins of Asheville; brothers, Bill Rumbough of Asheville and Bobby Rumbough of Melbourne, FL; grandsons, K.J., Wes and Charlee and granddaughter, Brooke. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Union Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
