Jimmy Charles Harris

Candler - Jimmy Charles Harris, 70, of 40 Windy Canyon Rd. passed away Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Mission Hospital. A native and resident most of his life of Buncombe County. He was the son of the late Johnnie Wesley and Melva McFee Harris and was also preceded in death by his son Jamie Harris. He retired in 1989 from Mrs. Allisons Cookies, was a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge in Marion. Surviving are his wife, Lois Ann Harris of the home, daughter Sheila Patton of Candler, sons, Mike Harris and wife Janice and Ricky Joe Harris all of Candler; sister, Frankie Lovin and husband Howard of Candler; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pole Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Thurman officiating. Burial will follow in Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. His grandsons, Jeremy, Justin, Jerad, & Luke Harris and Jason & Sean Patton will serve as pallbearers.
