Jim Jr. Deweese

Asheville James Phillip Jim Deweese, Jr., 64, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, attended Elk Mountain Baptist Church and was a Vietnam War Marine veteran. Mr. Deweese was a son of the late James Phillip Deweese, Sr. and Faye Warren Deweese. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Pam Anderson Deweese; children, James Jamie Deweese, III and fiancee Jenna Pressley and Shelley Deweese; step-mother, Jackie Deweese; sister, Sherry Chandler; brother, Charles W. Deweese and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Waldroup officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
