 Birth: 6-27-1930 Died: 2-15-2025

 Candler – Bob Was born in Knoxville, Tenn. He moved to Asheville in 1937.

 Bob was the son of the late Samuel and Mabel Porter Kidd. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Paul & Sherman and 2 sisters, Mayme & Helen.

 Bob had a long career of 39 years with Genesco working in the Hardy Shoe Division. He managed stores in Asheville, Charlotte and Nashville. He was promoted to District Manager in 1960, where he relocated to Chicago as the Mid-Western District Manager. In 1964 he returned South to Atlanta as the South-Eastern District Manager. Bob returned to Asheville in 2003. Bob was a veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Lee Edwards High School Class of 48.

 He is survived by nephews: Sam Watts and Larry Watts and nieces: Jo Ann Jackson, Pauline & Diane.

 At the request of Bob, no funeral service or visitation will take place.
