Jerelene "Gerrie" Clark

Candler Jerelene Zannie Gerrie Clark, 80, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Elizabeth House Hospice Center. A native of Macon County, she had resided in Buncombe County most of her life.. She was a 1954 Graduate of Franklin High School and a graduate of Blantons Business College. Mrs. Clark retired from True Value Hardware Store where she had served as manager and attended Ridgeway Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Otis Garfield Clark and Mary Alice Anderson Clark and the wife of the late James Conley J.C. Clark. Mrs. Clark was also preceded in death by her brother, Preston Clark. Surviving are her daughter, Connie Clark Wise and husband, Chad Canupp of Candler; grandson, Eric James E.J. Wise of Candler; sister, Gail Phillips and husband, Gary of Conyers, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Ridgeway Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
