Jennie Duckett Ingle

March 9, 1939 — November 18, 2023

Asheville – Jennie Frances Duckett Ingle, 84, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Elizabeth House.


A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Orr Duckett and Kathleen Gasperson Duckett. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Williams, brothers, James Duckett, and Thomas Duckett.


Jennie was proud she had one son, one grandson, and one great grandson. She loved crafts and reading lots of books, Jennie owned her own alterations business and worked hard for her community.


Surviving are her children: Clyde Ray Ingle (Diane) Suzette Renfro (John) and Kathy Buckner; Grandchildren: Travis Ingle (Rachel); one great-grandson Alexander Ingle; and several nieces and nephews.


The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM till 11:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Anders-Rice funeral at 11:00 AM with Pastor Charlie Sams officiating.


In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jennie’s memory to the Four Seasons Hospice Foundation, 211 N Main St, Hendersonville, NC 28792 or online at fourseasonsfdn.org.
