Jean Glance Moore

Asheville - Jean Glance Moore, 76, of 16 Holly Hill Drive went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 1, 2003 while being cared for at Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Clinton C. and Icie Rogers Glance. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother who will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lemuel F. Moore, Jr. of the home; son, Steve Moore and wife Pam of Asheville; daughter, Joyce Moore Wolf and husband Byron of Manitou Springs, Co.; sister, Margaret Glance Miller of Candler and grandchildren, Shane Moore, Jeff Moore and Merrick Wolf. she was preceded in death by her sister, Jaqueline Fusco and brother, Charles Glance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
