Jean Ann Rogers

Leicester - On Wednesday - May 2, 2007, Jean Ann Pressley Rogers entered into eternal rest after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Jean Ann was born on May 26, 1950 to Neil and Edna Pressley in Waynesville. Both parents preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are husband, Jim Rogers of the home; brother, Robert Pressley and wife Jo Ann of Charlotte; niece, Melissa Cassel and family; nephew, Eric Pressley and family; sister-in-law, Diane Tarrants and husband Rodney and family and special friends, Judy Carver, Cassandra Beaver and Anna and David Flowers. Jean Ann graduated from Tuscola High School in 1968 and Haywood Tech in 1970. She was the financial director for the Irene Wortham Center for 20 years and also worked as a Realtor for Carver realty in Asheville. She served on several positions with the Asheville Board of Realtors. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating.
