Jayne Lombardo

Asheville – Jayne Elizabeth Roberts Lombardo, 57, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Statesville, NC, Jayne had resided in Buncombe County since 1970. She was an experienced hair and nail technician, and worked later in life at Mission Hospitals as a radiology technician. Jayne loved the beach, especially the Gulf Coast. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and mother who was supportive of her children, helping them anyway she could during their struggles. Jayne was the daughter of Phyllis Roberts Elliott and the late William Rodney Roberts. In addition to her mother, Jayne is survived by her children: Talia Grace Lombardo and Chance Ray Lombardo; sister, Alice Roberts Lewis and husband Mike; brother, Rodney Roberts and wife Chrissy; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Jayne’s Life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the home of Alice and Mike Lewis. A drop in visitation for friends will follow, from 1:30 – 3:00 PM at the Lewis home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Talia and Chance Lombardo. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting Jayne’s family.
