Jarold "Jerry" Soesbee

Asheville - Jarold Jerry Soesbee, 62, of 2 Evelake Dr. died Wednesday September 5, 2001 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native and life long resident of Buncombe County. He was a salesman for First Value Homes, a member of New Bridge Baptist church and a member of Loyal Order of Moose of Asheville. He was the son of Virginia Burrell Soesbee of Asheville and the late James Carroll Soesbee. Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughter, Nylene Wilds of New York; sons, Johnnie Soesbee, Rev. David Soesbee and Jerry Soesbee, Jr. all of Asheville and Jeffrey Soesbee of Hendersonville; brother, Bob Soesbee of Candler; fiancee, Tonia Price of Asheville and five grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Soesbee and Jerry Young officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
