Janet Earwood

Conyers, GA – Janet Roberts Earwood, 94, formerly of Asheville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2022. A native and resident of Buncombe County most of her life, she had resided in Georgia for the past 10 years to be with her daughter and son-in-law. She had also resided in Tampa, Florida from 1953 to 2006. She was a homemaker, a lifelong Southern Baptist and a proud Democrat. Mrs. Earwood was a daughter of the late Edward E. Roberts and Cora Sheppard Roberts, and the wife of Jack Harold Earwood who died November 19, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her 5 sisters and 6 brothers. Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Rene Worrell-Marshall and husband, Terence of Conyers; granddaughter, Amberly Worrell of Des Moines, IA, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 29, 2022 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Clark E. Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
