Jane Brott Miller Caldwell

Jane Brott Miller Caldwell, age 79, of 41 Freemont Rd., passed away January 1, 2017. Jane was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but raised here in Buncombe County. She was a graduate of Biltmore School. She was a member of Covenant Community Church. She was the daughter of the late Murl Stanley Brott, Sr. and Minnie Morgan Brott. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Arlene Brott Jenkins of Fairview and Murl Bud Brott, Jr. of Ohio. She is survived by her children, Kerry Miller LaPierre and husband Francis of Swannanoa; Russell Miller of the home; grandson Dylan Greer of Tennessee; and brother David Brott & wife Dorothy of Mars Hill. A memorial service will be held at Covenant Community Church at 2 PM Thursday, January 5, 2017. Receiving of friends will be immediately after the service. Those desiring to make a memorial contribution are encouraged to consider St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, according to her wishes.
